The countdown continues for the National Combat Aircraft, Turkey's largest defense industry project to date.

The countdown continues for the National Combat Aircraft, Turkey's largest defense industry project to date. Explaining that MMU has an intense process to use all domestic/national missiles, the production manager said that SİHA and Turkey's MMU can carry out a joint mission in the same field. TAI, one of the favorite institutions of the domestic and national defense industry, is experiencing a very active period these days. In addition to the National Combat Aircraft (MMU), ANKA-3, Hürjet, and Hürkuş, platform, and infrastructure works that have been operational before, continue as one of the R&D projects that are among the best in the world in the field of full-throttle. The National Combat Aircraft, which is undoubtedly the first domestic and national military aircraft of our country, is the most popular.
We met with Benan Aylangan, National Combat Aircraft Product Manager at TAI Kahramankazan factory, to get answers to the most frequently asked questions about MMU. Product Director Aylangan begins her speech with a critical assessment of MMU. He says that the National Combat Aircraft is not just a fighter jet project, there is something very valuable here, emphasizing the development of the ecosystem. Aylangan opens in parentheses the Turkish defense industry companies, especially the President of the Defense Industry and the Turkish Air Force, who reveal the requirements of the project and act according to these needs. He explains that most of the subsystems of the aircraft were designed, developed and finally tested by Turkish defense industry companies.
