About the Department
To train software developers who specialize in the sector with both theoretical and practical skills and technicians who can work as technical support staff for the increasing need in the field of information technology. In addition, we aim to train qualified personnel who can produce fast and accurate solutions in the face of problems related to the society's adaptation to rapidly developing computer technologies, collecting the required information and processing this information.
In order to close the shortage of technical personnel, our students are given courses in the fields of system design, development, establishment and management of computer networks, management of systems and databases, preparation and presentation of web pages. The subjects that are most needed in information technologies such as visual programming, database management, internet programming, operating systems, computer hardware are transferred to the students depending on the course programs and full learning is realized by applying this information in computer laboratories in terms of practicality.
