 Koç Holding and Microsoft Türkiye Collaboration in Software


Koç Holding and Microsoft Turkey announced that they have launched the Ctrl+ Future program to increase their global competitiveness in the field of informatics. Senior engineering students and newly graduated engineers participating in the program will be able to specialize in software development or data analytics and design projects with online training offered by Microsoft Turkey. Participants who successfully complete the program will have the opportunity to do internships in Koç Group companies.


Koç Human Resources Director Umut Günal stated that they closely follow the opportunities offered by digital technologies and provide development programs that will increase the competencies of their colleagues to prepare for the ways of doing business of the future.  Günal stated that the Ctrl+ Future program is a part of Koç Holding's cultural transformation and that they aim to provide young talents with a software development and data analytics skill set.  Within the scope of the program, it is aimed to equip young people with the skills needed by institutions in the field of software development and data analytics.  Münir Kundakçı, Deputy General Manager of Marketing and Operations at Microsoft Turkey, said that while the program provides employment to young people, it also aims to close the gap of software developers.  Kundakçı emphasized that priority will be given to young people affected by the earthquake.  Senior engineering students and newly graduated engineers who want to participate in the program can apply via Kockariyerim.com.  Participants who choose software development in the program will receive front-end and back-end software development trainings, while participants who choose data analytics will specialize by learning data analytics and analysis programs.  Young people who are successful in the program will have the opportunity to gain experience by doing internships.
