The 2026 Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) preference period began on July 29, 2026. Candidates can submit their university preferences through ÖSYM’s Candidate Transactions System until 11:59 p.m. on August 10, 2026. When preparing their preference lists, candidates are advised to consider not only their success rankings but also universities’ academic opportunities, practical training facilities, internationalisation activities, career support services, and scholarship options.
As part of its University Preference and Promotion Days, Istanbul Gelisim University is welcoming prospective students and their families to its campus. Expert counsellors also support candidates in preparing suitable preference lists based on their success rankings, interests, and career goals.
Istanbul Gelisim University also offers scholarships of up to 40% for candidates who place the university among their first five preferences, as well as an additional 10% On-Campus Preference Scholarship for those who complete their preference procedures on campus. These opportunities aim to help candidates make informed and well-considered decisions about their university education.
