During summer school, students may register for courses that they:
A student may take a maximum of four courses during summer school, including courses taken from another higher education institution.
Course addition, course withdrawal and dropping courses are not permitted during summer school, except for students whose valid excuses, such as death, illness or accident, are approved by the relevant Administrative Board.
Students who fail a registered course will receive an FF grade, while students who do not meet the attendance requirements will receive a D grade.
If a course is not offered during the University’s summer school, students may take an equivalent course from another higher education institution in accordance with the summer school procedures and principles determined by the Senate.
The course content and credits must be approved as equivalent by the relevant Program Head. In addition, the local credit of the course to be taken must not be lower than the local credit of the corresponding course in the student’s programme.
Students may take the course from another higher education institution only with the approval of the relevant Administrative Board.
Students who provide documentation proving that they are enrolled at another higher education institution may take courses offered during İstanbul Gelişim University’s summer school.
Course registrations cannot be cancelled after the registration process has been completed.

Applications must be submitted to the Student Affairs Department in the Rectorate Building within the announced course registration dates.
