BMC, which is considered our national pride with the production of the Altay tank continues its production and design without slowing down, presented some innovative information to Teknofest visitors along with the domestic and national Altay Tank.
In recent years, many companies from various sectors, from automotive to agriculture, from aviation to the defense industry, have introduced their current designs and productions in Teknofest, which is an event that attracts intense interest from people of all ages and backgrounds where local technologies are showcased.
In addition to the national pride Altay Tank, BMC's CEO Murat Yalçıntaş also mentioned the electric SUV model Tulga, which was developed with local and national capabilities.
In 2019, BMC introduced a prototype pick-up model named Tulga, which was planned to be produced for the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces as an off-road vehicle. Although not talked about much since its introduction in 2019, BMC mentioned a domestic and national electric SUV that will be produced under the name Tulga at Teknofest. It is the information that the tests of the vehicle have been completed and mass production will start within 1.5-2 months.
Again, the company stated that Tulga's tests will be completed and mass production will begin in 1.5-2 months, as well as technical information about the vehicle.
Originally, the prototypes produced indicated that Tulga would come as a pick-up model. However, according to the information received, the vehicle will be an SUV model. It is not clear whether the vehicle will be used for military purposes only or civilian use as well.
