Tesla Semi, The First Electric Truck Appears to Have Been Delivered After a 3-Year Wait Added to the Presentation Day

Semi trucks, the first truck of the Tesla brand to be produced as fully electric in the perspective of electric vehicles, were delivered to those who ordered it at an event completed at the Gigafactory in Nevada, United States. However, no data on price and production conditions were shared at this event.
In the previous months, it was announced that the Tesla brand will start to deliver the "Tesla Semi Truck" fully electric freight trucks to its customers in December. The first fully electric truck of the Tesla brand Semi trucks was delivered to its customer without any delay.
The trucks, which were first introduced as a concept design in many auto and truck fairs in 2017, were supposed to go into production in 2019 according to company news, but it is known that this was delayed for different reasons, including the Covid 19 world epidemic and the narrowing of parts availability globally. The company says that the thrust force of Tesla brand Semi trucks is obtained with 4 independent fully electric motors on the rear axles, that it can reach 0-100 km/h in twenty seconds, and that it has an energy range of nearly 500 miles with a charging battery. While it is generally claimed that the sales prices can start at approximately $ 150 000, it is stated by the authorities that there are many truck orders from world-famous businesses such as Walmart and FedEx.
Robyn Denholm, head of the Tesla company, recently stated that the automaker could produce one hundred Tesla brand Semi model trucks this year. Elon Musk stated that the Tesla brand aims to produce 50 000 freight trucks by 2024. PepsiCo, which completed its first product cargo journey with a Tesla brand truck to give snacks to the participants in the launch event in the United States of America, Nevada, ordered one hundred trucks from Tesla in 2017.
In fact, the Tesla brand is not the only manufacturer in the fully electric drive truck industry. Major vehicle manufacturers such as Thor Trucks, Daimler and Volkswagen also draw attention with their progress in this sector. In 2018, the Daimler brand shared with the public the fully electric truck that the Tesla brand is developing as an alternative to the fully electric freight truck. However, Tesla announced that it would start producing fully electric trucks earlier than the company, which is the world's largest truck manufacturer, and this statement was interpreted as a "historical steal".
