PORSCHE 357 VISION
Porsche, the world-famous car brand, will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the famous Goodwood Festival of Speed, which will be held this week, with the Porsche Vision 357 Speedster.
While the Vision 357 Speedster is a homage to the 356 in terms of manufacturing, its biggest technological difference from its veiled sibling is that it's all-electric.
The vehicle benefits from Porsche 718 GT4 e-performance technology. The electric motors and battery of the car were taken from the Mission R, while the chassis was taken from the 718 GT4 Clubsport.
The 4-piece headlights at the front have an oval design reminiscent of the 356.
Another point of the vehicle reminiscent of the 356 is the grille design at the back.
Alongside this special model, which will be on display at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Porsche will showcase more than 15 new and classic models.
356 No. 1 Roadster was the first car produced by the Porsche brand. The Porsche 356 found success with the engine positioned at the rear instead of the original mid-engine concept.
By 1965, about 78,000 Porsche 356s were produced.
