ONLY ELECTRIC CARS FROM 2024 ONWARDS
Volkswagen has announced that it will only sell electric cars in Norway from 2024 onwards.
Norway is one of the countries that embrace renewable energy the most and aims to make investments in renewable energy.
When the sales of electric and internal combustion models within a country are compared, Norway ranks first. Fully electric cars make up 64 percent of the vehicles sold in the country in 2021.
Volkswagen has taken an important step in this direction and announced that it will only sell electric cars in Norway from 2024 onwards. The German brand will cease the sales of all other fuel-based cars in Norway on 1 January 2024.
