Another Step for Battery Production from SKYWELL
The electric vehicle manufacturer SKYWELL, which is the Turkish branch of SKYWELL and carries out distribution activities in Turkey by Ulu Motor, which is under the umbrella of Ulubaslar Group, completed the opening of the new production line in the production of electric batteries in China and started its production activities.
SKYWELL, one of the companies in the position of the electric vehicle manufacturer, has managed to make a name for itself in the global competition in the automobile manufacturers market, with the opening of its electric battery factory with a production volume of 1.2 GWh. There is a battery module and two battery pack production lines in the closed production facility measuring 22 acres.
Continuing its technical investments to become an important name in the worldwide automotive market in the automobile manufacturers market, SKYWELL seems to have realized its goal of producing electric batteries until December of last year. Electric car manufacturer SKYWELL intends to continue its production with a capacity of approximately 170 million dollars in the new year.
Stepping into the electric car market with the ET5, chosen as the Electric Car of the Year in the electric car category of the SKYWELL brand in our country, SKYWELL continues to make a name for itself in the sector with the investments it has made in countries that aim to sell their cars.
SKYWELL company decided to manufacture its battery production facility in Jiangsu province of China. With the launch of the battery production line with a capacity of 1.2 GWh in this state, the brand seems to be taken more seriously by other competitors in this sector. It has been announced that SKYWELL will produce batteries for the SKYWELL ET5 and plug-in hybrid HT-i in these facilities in line with the targets of 2023 with a value of 170 million dollars. SKYWELL, which has a target to sell one hundred thousand electric cars in 2023, aims to sell 1 million vehicles annually for 2030, and it is aimed that approximately 500 thousand of this target number will be made up of sales outside of China.
The company, which has made a name for itself with the ET5 model of the SKYWELL brand in the Turkish market, has made a serious entry into the Turkish market by receiving an order of over 4,500 units in about a year, with the range of this model that can cover 520 km, semi-autonomous driving, and similar equipment.
