Why should I choose the IGMYO Public Relations and Publicity program?
Istanbul Gelişim Vocational School Public Relations and Publicity Program meets the professional needs of the period; It provides its students with the infrastructure required to carry out communication management activities through traditional and digital media environments. It provides students with the necessary equipment through compulsory and elective course pools for the areas of expertise in public relations and the field of advertising.
 
What are the career opportunities for graduates of the Public Relations and Publicity program?
Graduates of the Public Relations and Publicity program; They can work in the communication departments of all public, private and non-governmental organizations, public relations agencies, advertising agencies, traditional and digital media organizations. They also have the opportunity to work in the employment areas of Journalism and other communication fields such as Radio, Television and Cinema. Our graduates; They can work in various positions in communication departments such as corporate communications officer/manager, brand communications officer/manager, communications manager, marketing communications officer/manager. In addition to being the communication consultant of famous names and political leaders, they can also work as social media managers/managers. If they complete their associate degree education with a bachelor's degree following the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS), they can also apply for the district governorship exams and become district governors.
 
What kind of courses are offered in the Public Relations and Publicity program?
Following foundation-building courses such as Introduction to Public Relations, Introduction to Advertising, Introduction to Communication, and Behavioral Sciences, field-specific specialty courses such as Research Methods in Public Relations, Public Relations Practices, Brand and Brand Management, Social Media, Body Language and Effective Speaking are given. In addition, with elective courses outside the field, our students can also take courses from external programs they are interested in.
