Istanbul Airport achieved an important success by being selected as the 'Airport of the Year' this year after 2021 in the 'Air Transport Awards' awards, which are known to be among the important publications of the world aviation market. As one of the best airports in the world, Istanbul Airport has been awarded consecutive awards by distinguished institutions, and was chosen as the "Airport of the Year" in 2022, as in the previous year, at the "Air Transport Awards" awards, which evaluate and reward 14 different categories of the aviation market.
More than 4,000 readers and leading executives of the aviation industry participated in the voting, which was held with the opinion of aviation authorities, and the winners are selected by voting.
