Why should I choose the IGVS Flight Dispatcher Program?
Our program stands out with its authority, which is only found in a few universities in Turkey. Students who graduate by meeting the necessary conditions are entitled to take the exam held by SHGM. Students who are successful in the exam can work as dispatchers anywhere in the world.
What are the career opportunities for Flight Dispatcher program graduates?
At the end of this training, if our students meet the necessary conditions and become dispatchers, they can work as dispatchers in all airline companies and air taxi companies. Apart from this, our students take 13 module courses during dispatcher training. Many of these courses are also included in the piloting department with their contents. A great infrastructure is provided for students who want to become pilots after training. Additionally, they can work in many departments at the airport.
What kind of courses are offered in the Flight Dispatcher program?
Since we are a department approved by SHGM, all course contents and lessons are carried out as determined by SHGM. In addition to compulsory module courses such as Navigation, Meteorology, Flight Planning and Monitoring, Weight and Balance, Air Law, Hazardous Materials and Security, courses are selected from the elective pool.
What kind of competencies are required to work in the field of Flight Dispatching?
