Countdown Started for THK CL-215 Aircraft
The maintenance needs of 4 of the CL-215 amphibious fire aircraft, which belong to the Turkish Aeronautical Association and are used in aerial combat against forest fires, came to the last stage after more than a year of work within the scope of the agreement with TUSAŞ. The statement made by the Presidency of the Turkish Aeronautical Association is as follows: "Our aircraft are inspected by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation (SHGM), and at the request of TUSAŞ, general and final controls are carried out by technical teams from THY. After all the controls of our 2 aircraft were done by SHGM and TUSAŞ, they took off from THK Etimesgut campus on 15-16 June and successfully completed their flights.
