Perseverance Accelerates Search for Signs of Life on Mars
The Perseverance rover, which landed on Mars on February 18, revealed that water was present in the 45 km wide region called Jazero about 3.5 billion years ago. Scientists believe that there may be signs of life in the crater, based on the samples obtained.
