2. The Great Offensive International Short Film Festival will be held between 24-27 October 2023 at Afyonkarahisar Provincial Culture and Tourism Directorate Hattat Ahmet Karahisari Culture and Art Center. The Great Offensive Short Film Festival, which will be held for the second time this year, will last for four days in total. Film screenings and interviews will be held throughout the festival; The award ceremony will be held on the last day of the festival, October 27, 2023, at 20:00.
In the preliminary rounds of the festival, Lecturer Zeynep Özcan from the Public Relations and Publicity Program also took part as a preliminary jury member. The festival, for which more than 2,800 short film applications were submitted from 122 countries, will be held within the scope of the "100th Anniversary Activities of the Republic" with the contributions of the General Directorate of Cinema of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey. In the festival was organized under the coordination of the Afyonkarahisar Provincial Culture and Tourism Directorate, under the leadership of Afyonkarahisar Governor Assoc. Prof. Kübra Güran Yiğitbaşı; Jury members, consisting of academics and cinema professionals, evaluate the short films submitted. 2. The Great Offensive International Short Film Festival will meet with moviegoers this year on October 24, 2023, at 14:00, with the theme "Resisting in Difficult Times from 29 October to 15 July".
