A Diction Workshop was organized within the scope of Istanbul Gelişim Vocational School Public Relations and Promotion Program, open to the participation of all participants. The workshop held in Classroom G Block 215 attracted great attention. The workshop, where Academician and Presenter-Speaker Halil Türker was the guest, started with the question "where does communication begin?" It was stated that communication begins as soon as the target person/audience sees it and even when it is talked about. After explaining the concepts of good speech and effective speech, exercises were carried out with the participants on basic subjects such as breathing exercises and phonetic rules necessary for successful diction. Türker practically showed the participants how tongue and lip exercises should be done. Türker also explained how to breathe from the diaphragm, the importance of this technique, frequently encountered pronunciation errors and the correct pronunciation styles. At the end of the workshop, he answered questions from the participants. At the end of the workshop, Lect. Zeynep Özcan presented her award to Halil Türker.
