 TOGG's Actual Journey Begins Now

Tuzla Municipality Technology Center (TEKMER), which was established with the cooperation of Tuzla Municipality and KOSGEB, was opened
Tuzla Municipality Technology Center (TEKMER) was inaugurated at the Waterfall Education Park. Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank, Tuzla District Governor Ali Akça, Tuzla Mayor Şadi Yazıcı, KOSGEB President Hasan Basri Kurt, Lecturers, Businessmen and NGO representatives attended the opening. Making the opening speech of the Center, Varank said, “On the first day of our Republic's 100th anniversary, we witnessed the realization of Turkey's 60-year-old dream. The whole of Turkey was proud with TOGG's descent from the mass production line. Our nation shed tears at its screens. I say it with all sincerity; We had goosebumps when our President came to the stage with TOGG. The real journey of TOGG, which is more than an automobile, actually begins after that. The intellectual property rights of this tool are 100% owned by us. Unlike dozens of brands produced in Turkey, we have the right to make any changes on TOGG. We don't need to wait at anyone's door and get permission," he said. At the opening ceremony, the "Devrim" car, which was produced in 1961 and started Turkey's domestic automobile adventure, and the SUV, Togg's first smart device in the C segment, and the concept smart device, which was introduced to the world public for the first time at CES, were exhibited together. With a live broadcast from the assembly facility, the first smart device C-SUV got off the mass production line. As of the first quarter of 2023, the first vehicle in the C segment, SUV, the sedan and hatchback models in the C segment, B-SUV and C-MPV will join the family, and the product range consisting of 5 models "with the same DNA" will be completed. According to the plan, which is aimed to be reached by 2030, 1 million vehicles in 5 different models will be produced at TOGG Gemlik Campus.
