The information details regarding the topics that our dear students are curious about in the fall semester of the 2020-2021 academic year are as follows:
1. Fall semester classes will start on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 and will end on Friday, January 15, 2021.
All courses except some social elective courses in the 2nd Fall semester are programmed as face-to-face courses.
3. The lessons will be held in SYNC (simultaneous and interactive) during the lesson hours announced in the weekly program.
4. Some courses that are not included in the weekly curriculum, such as Turkish Language, Foreign Language, Atatürk's Principles and History of Revolution and Social Electives, are ONLINE. These lessons will be held ASYNCHRONOUS (simultaneous and non-interactive).
In the 5th Fall Semester, regular education classes will start at 8.30 and the secondary education classes will start at 17.30.
6. Classes and exams will be held on Saturday/Sunday on weekends. However, there will be no classes and exams on other public holidays.
Course Registrations:
7. Since the courses will be held during the announced course hours, students can only register for one of the two courses whose course hours overlap. It is not possible to register for two courses with overlapping course hours at the same time.
8. Students who have failed courses in the lower semesters can enroll in a maximum of 45 ECTS courses.
9. Students who want to take courses from the fall century with a GPA (over 3.00 and 3.50) should apply ONLINE to their department/program chair during the course registration period by using their institutional e-mail address.
Midterm exams:
10. Midterm Exams will be held between Monday, November 30, 2020 - Saturday, December 6, 2020 (Week 8). There will be no classes during the midterm week.
11. An exam schedule will be announced for the midterms.
12. All midterm exams will be held ONLINE with one of the exam types such as classical, test, test+classic, on the announced day and announced time interval.
13. Students will be given one midterm exam for each course.
14. Students who do not take the exam on the announced day and time will lose their right to take the exam. Any excuse that does not comply with the regulations will not be accepted.
