Turkey's First Sustainability Center is Established
The efforts to establish Turkey's first sustainability center have started by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality. A national architectural project competition will be opened for the sustainability center and environmental project.
The works of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Tunç Soyer, who aims to make Izmir a leading city in harmony with nature, continue in this context. The center, which will play an important role in the zero carbon target in 2030 against the climate crisis, will be located in Izmir's Bayraklı Turan District. The project, which has been prepared within the framework of the Energy and Climate Action Plan and the Green Action Plan, will be designed as a zero carbon structure.
