The Number of Foreign Visitors to Turkey Reached 2.57 Million
According to the data announced by the Ministry of Tourism, the number of foreign visitors in the January-April period increased by 172.5 percent to 7.48 million. In April, the highest number of foreign visitors came from Germany with 395,372 people, followed by Bulgaria with 270,997 people and England with 225,296 people.
Russia, the country that traditionally sends the most tourists to Turkey, was able to rank 5th after Iran in the number of foreign visitors in April, thanks to the developments after the invasion of Ukraine.
