Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Ömer Fatih Sayan stated that they achieved significant success on 5G test networks in 2020 and they aim to launch the 5G network in 2023. Sayan also stated that first demos from National Peer to Peer 5G project of Communication Technologies Clustering were completed at the end of March and prototypes of products such as new radio, core network, network management system and radio link were prepared upon the R&D processes. The demos of the latest versions of these products are expected to be launched on 26
th May.
