Stating that they achieved significant success by trying 5G test networks in 2020, Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Ömer Fatih Sayan stated that they aim to offer the first signal to the service of citizens in 2023. Sayan informed that the first demos of the Communication Technologies Cluster (HTK) End-to-End Domestic and National 5G Project were completed as of the end of March, and that R&D processes and prototypes of products such as 5G new radio, core network, network management system, radiolink were prepared. He stated that with the Communication Technologies Cluster, they will announce the demos of the final version of these products on May 26.
