 Street Flavors In Istanbul Gastronomy Culture




Street delicacies offer the opportunity to experience the characteristics of their culture, local flavors of the region personally. Street food is considered a major tourist attraction in many countries in Asia and Africa. In addition, festivals and events for street flavors are held in countries and thousands of tourists come to the countries to experience these flavors.

Street food, which contributes significantly to both the culture and economy of Istanbul, the metropolitan city of Turkey, is also among the attractive gastronomy components of the region.  Fish and bread, kokoreç, street pastry, ring dessert, milk corn are among the street delicacies that Istanbul lovers often prefer. Istanbul's indispensable crispy simit, Ortaköy's famous flavor kumpir, chestnuts, Beyoğlu street sandwiches, midye dolma Fatih women's market, where a variety of street food is served, paper halva, midye dolma, rice with chickpeas, tükürük köfte, street pickles, Albanian liver and cotton candy sellers are one of the street flavors telling about Istanbul and its gastronomic culture.
