Gastro Talks III Event was held with the participation of Ömür Akkor.
Within the scope of the cooperation between Istanbul Gelisim University Gastronomy and Cuisine program and “Kısık Ateş” Platform, the 'Thousands of Years of Anatolian Cuisine' seminar was held by Food Researcher and Traveler Ömür AKKOR at the block J Mehmet Akif Ersoy Conference Hall.
The event, which started with the opening speech of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serdar ÇÖP, the university’s general secretary, drew great attention with Ömür AKKOR's journey from Hittite Cuisine to today's Anatolian Cuisine, and her experiences to contribute to the personal development of students especially towards the end of the program. At the end of the program, the efforts of the students to take pictures with Chief Ömür AKKOR did not go unnoticed.
After the speech, Chief Ömür AKKOR and İrem ŞENOL AKAY, Pınar Company representative, Business Development Specialist were presented their plaques by Vice Rector of our University Prof. Dr. Nuri Kuruoğlu. In this event, where the participation of FFA, ASVS Gastronomy and Vocational School Cuisine Program students and academicians was very intense, Kemal Şahanlık, the specialist in charge of our kitchens, and his team prepared and served the desserts with Pınar Labneh, Choco Labneh, cream and milk.
