Dear students, the spring semester of the 2018-2019 academic year started on February 4, 2019. We hope that you are preparing for the new term in a rested and energized manner after the intense and tiring fall semester. We are planning to spend a successful period where we will not repeat the mistakes we made in the past, we will work in a much more systematic and planned manner, and we will strengthen it with new projects, technical trips and trainings.
The construction technology department is known as an innovative and productive department that aims to train technicians with the qualifications sought in the sector with a 99% occupancy rate and can always meet the needs of students with its strong academic staff.
We strongly recommend that you use the opportunities offered by our school. In the campus of Istanbul Gelişim Vocational School, 1 library and 1 reading room are provided to students to study and research. In addition to a large number of up-to-date resources, the library provides the opportunity to do research with the free wifi network. Apart from this, you can also benefit from the libraries in the rectorate and tower campuses. Apart from this, there are equipped gyms where you can take part in teams in line with your abilities or just use them to relax. You can develop yourself socially and culturally with various student clubs. With the ERASMUS student exchange program, you can study abroad or do an internship.
At first, with the request of you, our dear students, and then with the support of our teachers, our aim is to be an office and a construction site that can be professionally related to the fields of mathematics and science and have sufficient infrastructure, can adapt to group work, can work in the field, can make quantity, progress payment, purchasing, reporting, technical drawings, and can use technology. To train individuals who can work in the environment.
We aim to be useful to you, our esteemed students, with our course contents prepared in this context. Not only theoretical but also practical works for the sector are given in our computer lab and construction workshop. We offer you the opportunity to train frequently used programs in the market such as Autocad and Sta4cad and to do all the applications that you will control on the construction sites.
With the agreements we have made with the leading companies of the sector, we provide you with free participation in many trainings where you can have the Ministry of National Education approved certificate that you can use in your professional life. We build a bridge between you and the leaders of the sector through various technical trips and interviews.
