“THEY CAN OPEN THEIR OWN OFFICES”
Reminding that civil engineering and architecture affect hundreds of professions in the sector, Istanbul Gelişim University Board of Trustees Chairman Abdülkadir Gayretli said, “By affecting more than 200 sectors, they are among the professions with the highest impact on the country's economy. Almost all sectors need an infrastructure, and the design, construction and maintenance of these infrastructures are in the main field of these professions. Professionals can work in a project office or open their own office. They can work in the public sector or as field engineers and provide consultancy. As a university, we cover the furniture expenses of all our students who want to open their own offices without separating a department, and we encourage them to start their own businesses.
