With the departure of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk to Samsun on May 19, 1919, the Turkish Nation showed all the states of the world that they could never be captured and that even an inch of homeland could not be occupied. It is also very meaningful that today, which is the blessed day of our struggle for independence, is presented to you, who are the guarantee of our future and tomorrow.
As Turkish youth, you will protect the Republic, which is the trust of your ancestors, and you will fulfill your duties in the best way to exceed the level of modern civilization.
With these feelings and thoughts; We celebrate the 19th of May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day with our sincere wishes, and we commemorate our hero veterans with mercy and gratitude, especially our Great Leader Veteran Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who sacrificed their lives for the indivisible integrity of our country and our nation.
