Dear Students;
Applications for the 2019-2020 Spring Semester Single Course and Grade Upgrade exams for graduate students will be made between 04.07.2020 and 10.07.2020. Exams will be held online on 14.07.2020.
To apply for the Single Course Exam, you must perform the following steps:
1. You need to determine the course you will take the exam.
The article of the 'IGU Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations' regarding students who have the right to take a single course exam is stated below:
“Article 25 (7) (Amendment: OG-13/6/2018-30450) Students who are successful or conditionally successful in all the courses except a course in the curriculum, except for the attendance requirement, can apply to the relevant dean/directorship with a petition without seeking the registration requirement for the academic year. Students are taken to a single course exam from the relevant course on the dates specified in the calendar. A student who fails in a single course exam has to re-register for the course in the following academic year. The student can take a single course exam again on the dates specified in the academic calendar on the date after the course is taken again.
2. You have to send your application petition using your university student e-mail. "Single Course Exam Application" should be written in the subject part of the e-mail sent.
Fill in the application petition, which is shared with you in the attachment, in the computer environment, take a printout; You must send it to myo@gelisim.edu.tr by scanning it with a wet signature or taking a readable photo and attaching it to the attachments. In addition, when sending the application petition, you must use your university e-mail address with the extension xxxxxxxxx@ogr.gelisim.edu.tr, which starts with your student number. Messages sent from other emails are not considered.

In order to apply for the Grade Upgrade Exam, you must perform the following steps:
1. You need to determine the course or courses you will take the exam.
The article of the IGU Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations regarding the students who have the right to take the grade raising exam is stated below.
"Article 25 (9): (Amendment: OG-13/6/2018-30450) To associate degree students who have taken all the courses in the curriculum, have been successful or conditionally successful, but cannot graduate because their GPA is less than 2.00 out of 4.00. In the last two semesters and the last four semesters, undergraduate students are given the right to take the exam to increase their grade point average on the dates specified in the academic calendar. Students who fail the exam to increase their grade point average can take the exam to increase their grade point average again in the following academic term, with the same application conditions, without the requirement to register for the courses.
