In today's Republic of Turkey, parallel with the positive developments in hospital management, everyone agrees that efficient results cannot be obtained without the use of computers at every stage of high-level management. Despite the intense desire of all hospital staff to use computers, there is no clear and complete clarity about how and where computers can be used effectively. Computer use in the health sector in developed and developing countries and in our country is progressing more slowly compared to many other sectors (electronics, space, education and training, etc.). In this case, it comes to the fore to know what the Information Processing Department, Information Technologies Department or Information Services Department means in an institution/organization in the health sector. First of all, it is considered as a field of study that will help health personnel in "diagnosis and treatment". In this sense, artificial intelligence comes to the fore. The main component of artificial intelligence is artificial neural networks and its continuation machine learning. In addition, the concept of "internet of things" has a very wide place here. A person's health can be under constant control and evaluation by means of electronic equipment (in clothes, etc.). It can be said that the shortest definition of information processing is the storage and processing of information in the best conditions. Information means processed data. When it is considered that information processing can support the health sector with the programs to be written on which subject(s) in hospitals, the following topics emerge:
