What are the Processes in Mobile Game Design?

Mobile game design includes many processes starting from the idea of the game, such as user experience, graphic design, sound design and game mechanics. Here are the processes followed in mobile game design in general:

Idea Development: The idea development stage is important to determine the basic idea of the game, and to plan elements such as the target audience, genre, and gameplay mechanics of the game. At this stage, the game’s objectives, main theme, and unique features are determined.

Concept Design: The conceptual design of the game is done. The design of elements such as the main characters, world, game flow, levels, gameplay mechanics, and elements of the game is carried out at this stage. The overall structure of the game is visualized using storyboards and prototypes.

Visual Design: Visual elements of the game are created during the graphic design phase. Characters, backgrounds, objects, and user interfaces are designed. The color palette, typography, and animations are also determined at this stage. User interface (UI) design is important for improving the user experience.

Programming and Development: The technical structure and coding of the game are carried out. The game is run by using the game engine and programming languages. Creating levels, implementing game mechanics, and testing the game are done at this stage.

Sound Design: Sound design is done to support the atmosphere and interactions of the game. Elements such as the game's soundtrack, sound effects, and character voices are created at this stage.

Test and Trial: Prototypes and beta versions of the game are tested. Improvements are made considering bugs, balance issues, and user feedback. User experience and gameplay testing are an important processes.

Distribution and Marketing: The game’s final version is released and sent to mobile app stores. Marketing strategies are created, and the game is promoted. The game's target audience is reached through advertising campaigns, social media marketing, and press releases.
While these processes constitute a general framework, each game project may differ according to its own needs and features. The stages, sequence, and details of the processes may vary depending on the size of the project team, time, and resources.
