“Heads Up” Update is Arriving for Google Digital Wellbeing
Google is bringing a new feature to the Digital Wellbeing app to increase awareness of the use of smartphones on the street

Google’s Digital Wellbeing app, which is designed to be able to prevent this situation in terms of smart phones, warns users with its various features.
The latest feature noticed by Digital Wellbeing beta users is the Heads Up feature. This feature aims to warn individuals who frequently check their smartphones while walking outside. It also sends a warning message to the user that they should pay attention to their surroundings according to physical activity and location information.
This new feature is of great importance in terms of technological development as well as raising awareness for individuals in regards to smartphone addiction. Through sensors, detecting the individuals’ use of phones while walking can also be a new step towards raising awareness about phone use while driving in the future.
