 Unmanned aerial vehicle BAHA redesigned

HAVELSAN AŞ, one of the organizations belonging to the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, has redesigned the BAHA unmanned aerial vehicle, which was previously designed in line with the necessary needs of the Turkish Armed Forces. Mehmet Onur Özçelik, HAVELSAN's R&D and Engineering Director, stated that the BAHA unmanned aerial vehicle has the characteristics of an unmanned aerial vehicle that was produced for a project initiated by HAVELSAN's own equity.

Noting that BAHA is an important member of HAVELSAN's work that has a critical role, Özçelik said, "When BAHA was first introduced, it was a platform to test our domestic and national autopilot software and swarm algorithms. Thanks to this platform, we have the chance to improve our algorithms. We wanted to carry out the testing processes of the developments carried out at the points within our Armed Forces and we have been in many fields. Our aim in doing this is to first determine, see and test the demands of our Armed Forces in the field correctly. In addition, we have also developed this test platform itself at a high level and We made sure it was put in good shape.” said.
