THY has announced that it has added the 7th of the A350-900 type aircraft to its fleet, which it has ordered from the European aircraft manufacturer Airbus, 25 of which are definite and 5 are optional, in total. Turkish Airlines (THY) continues to expand by expanding its fleet with new generation aircraft. THY's TC-LGG tail registered Airbus A350-900 type new generation aircraft, which was received from the Airbus factory in Toulouse, France, landed at Istanbul Airport at 20.35.
The plane, parked in front of the hangar belonging to Turkish Teknik, will start its flights in the following days after its operations. Attracting attention with their state-of-the-art features, the A350-900s stand out with their silence and fuel efficiency. The new generation aircraft, in which many innovations such as monitoring the taxiways from the cockpit through 6 touch screens in the cockpit and cameras mounted on the outside of the aircraft, have been implemented, provide great convenience to the pilots. The aircraft has a modern and comfortable two-class cabin layout with 329 seats, 32 "Business" and 297 "Comfort economy". Additionally, the aircraft has been equipped with the latest generation in-flight entertainment system offering high-definition displays and internet connectivity for a more enjoyable travel experience on long-haul flights.
