A ceremony was held at THY's aircraft maintenance hangars at Atatürk Airport in the context of the 'Aircraft Maintenance Technicians Day', which is celebrated on May 24 every year. THY Chairman of the Board and Executive Committee Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat, THY General Manager Bilal Ekşi and THY Teknik A.Ş. General Manager Mikail Akbulut attended.
In his speech at the organization, Bolat made statements regarding the company's objectives, stating that the THY fleet has now increased from 5 aircraft to over 370, and the number of aircraft will reach 400 in 3-5 months, "We are adding 7 MAX and 20 Neo aircraft to the fleet. We are adding our 7 MAX and 20 Neo aircraft to the fleet. "We will support and expand it with modern new generation technology aircraft. The growth after 400 will continue. We will celebrate our 90th anniversary by aiming for a larger, wider fleet and greater profits," he said. Stating that they pay attention to two points when a new aircraft enters into the THY fleet, Bolat said, "First of all, our pilots to fly these planes are ready. Secondly, our technicians who will carry out their maintenance are authorized and experienced. In this respect, as THY grows and develops, THY Teknik A.Ş will also grow."
