Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) Chairman of the Board Prof. Dr. Rafet Bozdoğan said the following about the aircraft parts factory to be established in the Türkoğlu district of Kahramanmaraş: "We are trying to create employment for 100-200 people here, then 500 people." Bozdoğan stated that the companies affiliated with the Presidency of Defense Industries were dispatched to the region immediately after the earthquake in Kahramanmaraş, where he came to participate in the program. Emphasizing that all employees working in this field are specially trained and experienced teams, Bozdoğan noted that they were determined as Kahramanmaraş TAI. Bozdoğan stated that thousands of people lost their lives in the disaster and he was saddened, and stated that he believed that the wounds would be healed with the cooperation of the state and the people, and said: Right after the earthquake, our team was brought here from Ankara within 3-4 hours, they helped the rescue teams in the region and started the rescue work themselves. Explaining that they are planning to make permanent investments in the region, Bozdoğan said, "We will build an aircraft part production facility with a budget of approximately 1 billion liras, and we will try to create employment for 100 people in the first part and then to 500 people. This is a process starting from aircraft parts to the assembly and componentization of aircraft parts. It was decided to build the facility here," he said.
