Rize-Artvin Airport, which is the second airport in Turkey and the 5th airport in the world among airports that were designed by filling the sea, is located in Yeşilköy, in the Pazar district of Rize, hosted 48,103 passengers in a month. The first foundation of Rize-Artvin Airport, which was built on an area of ​​1000 hectares by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure in Yeşilköy, in the Pazar district of Rize, was laid on April 3, 2017. Rize-Artvin Airport, which cost 4.4 billion TL, consists of a 32 thousand square meter terminal building and other support buildings and a total of 47 thousand 133 square meters closed area.
