Apple will meet with software developers at the Worldwide Developer Conference-WWDC 23 event and introduce new versions of operating systems. Here we will see that with iOS 17 the Control Center area has also changed.
Apple plans to make major changes to its operating systems this year. Although the design of smartphones will remain similar in many areas, since it is the 10th year of smartwatches and there is not much to offer in terms of hardware, it will aim to be renewed by innovating in software.
Apple will completely replace the Control Center area, which was first released with iOS 7 and got its current design with iOS 11, with iOS 17.
There are three main ideas about innovation. The first of these is that the devices will be opened by pulling them from the right/left side to the side or from the bottom up as in the past, not from the top down due to their growing size. According to the second claim, just like the bulk folders added to the end of the main page, a special area will be added, or it will take the form of a widget. However, this limits the usage scenarios for the lock screen.
Therefore, we can already say that the third claim is more likely. Accordingly, the control center will not be moved or removed with iOS 17.
