For this reason, "World Tourism Week" is celebrated every year between April 15 and April 22. During the week, newspapers, magazines, radio, and television broadcasts emphasize the importance of tourism.

For this reason, "World Tourism Week" is celebrated every year between April 15 and April 22. During the week, newspapers, magazines, radio, and television broadcasts emphasize the importance of tourism.
As it is known, the long-term support process of the earthquake disaster, which had great effects in Kahramanmaraş-centered 11 provinces on February 6, 2023, continues. Marketing Communicators Association (PID), which works to bring the vision to the marketing sector, to ensure healthy growth, provide communication among sector employees, increase service quality, and fight against unfair competition, has been in the earthquake zone since the first moment of the disaster. The Association ensures the determination of the necessary needs by taking action quickly; After the needs assessment, it started to work with its members by being involved in the support coordination between regions and centers. It continues its work with the awareness that the most essential issue here is “sustainability”.
 
In his message published on the occasion of Tourism Week, the President of the Association, Elmas Özler, stated that we should all work and fulfill our roles for sustainable projects for the re-development of earthquake zones. Özler stated that as the Association of Marketing Communicators, they thought that the wounds in the region should be healed first, and they also tried to contribute to this issue; stating their belief that they can walk this difficult path with the spirit of unity and solidarity with all their members is endless. In the medium and long term; He mentioned that it will be a long way to review the cultural and gastronomic routes for tourism activities, create new routes, facilitate the access of businesses operating in these areas to finance, and update the promotional materials of the regions while preserving the cultural texture. Elmas Özler underlined that the revival of life in the region will be a morale booster for all of us, but that each of us has a duty on this path.
 
Our country, as it is known, is magnificent in terms of tourism. Turkey, where four seasons are experienced at every moment, is a paradise country with its east, west, north, and south. In addition to the beauty of its geographical conditions, the warm-blooded, benevolent, and helpful nature of the people of our country also makes Turkey attractive in the eyes of tourists.
 
      Yahya Coşkun, Deputy Director General of Cultural Heritage and Museums, said in a statement. Every precaution has been taken for the safety of our artifacts in all our museums located in the earthquake zone, and there is no negative situation."
