Despite the rising energy and food crisis all over the world and the Russia-Ukraine War, Turkey is having a good tourism season. The positive trend in the high season is expected to show a high course in the winter months this year as well. Mehmet İşler, Vice President of the Turkish Hoteliers Federation, stated that the reservations for the 2022-2023 winter season increased by 20-25% compared to the previous year. It is expected that the 2022 Turkish tourism season will be closed with 47 million tourists and the 2023 visits will be around 53 million.
