Two museums from Turkey received the European Museum of the Year Special Award

Troy and Odunpazarı Modern Museum brought the European Museum of the Year Awards to Turkey.
 
The European Museum of the Year Special Awards given by the European Museum Forum (EMF), one of the most prestigious awards in the museum field, were given to the Troy Museum and the Odunpazarı Modern Museum. The award ceremony, which was canceled due to the pandemic in 2020, was held on Youtube this year. Troy Museum was awarded the 2020 European Museum of the Year Award, and the Odunpazarı Modern Museum was awarded the 2021 European Museum of the Year. At the award ceremony, Bayburt Kenan Yavuz Ethnography Museum received the 2021 Silletto Award.
