The protection status of 11 natural sites in 6 provinces has been changed to 'sensitive area to be strictly protected'.

With the Presidency's decision published in the Official Gazette, the protection status of 11 natural sites in Adana, Antalya, Bitlis, Istanbul, İzmir and Van was registered and announced as 'sensitive areas to be protected'.
 
Natural protected areas whose conservation status has been changed include:
 
* Kapıkaya Canyon Potential Natural Protected Area, located within the borders of Karaisalı district of Adana
 
*Potential Natural Protected Area between Akseki-Gündoğmuş located within the borders of Akseki and Gündoğmuş districts of Antalya
 
*Kırkgöz Water Resources Natural Protected Area, located within the borders of Döşemealtı district of Antalya,
 
*Natural Protected Area of ​​Demre Stream, located within the borders of Kaş district of Antalya
 
*Iron Marshes Potential Natural Protected Area, located within the borders of Güroymak district of Bitlis and Hasköy district of Muş
 
*Riva Creek West Natural Protected Area, located within the borders of Beykoz district of Istanbul
 
*Ağva Natural Protected Area located within the borders of Şile district of Istanbul
