Rapid Revival in Cruise Tourism
Turkey shows significant developments in cruise tourism traffic following Covid-19. According to the data for the first 6 months of 2022, the number of cruise passengers has reached the number of 205 thousand, catcthing up with the level of 2016. For the same period of 2021, the number of cruise passengers was only 1236. The ports with the highest traffic in the first six months of this year were Kuşadası with 138 thousand tourists and İstanbul with 40 thousand tourists.
