As part of the fight against cultural smuggling, a total of 521 cultural assets have been brought back to Turkey from abroad in 2021. Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Nuri ERSOY, has stated that 2021 has seen the highest number of works reached in the last ten years and the fight on this matter will continue.
