Metin Gazoz, who is a board member of the Turkish Archery Federation, participated in the promotion event for olympic sports branches organized by the Turkish National Olympic Committee for primary and secondary school students in İnebolu, Kastamonu. At the event held at İnebolu 25 August Sports Hall, Gazoz showed the students the techniques of arrow shooting. Speaking to Anadolu Agency (AA), Metin Gazoz said that the children in İnebolu are very energetic and active.
Stating that he saw the talents in children, Gazoz said, "Maybe they are seeing bow and arrow for the first time in their lives, but they shot arrows very well maybe from the excitement for olympics or maybe out of their own curiosity. I believe that great champions will come out of them as a result of great work”.
