Bronze Medal in Wrestling Freestyle

Our national wrestler Fazlı Eryılmaz, who competed in the freestyle 74 kilograms in the Ranking series competitions held in Zagreb, the president of Croatia, finished the tournament with a bronze medal.
Fazlı Eryılmaz reached the quarter-finals by defeating his American opponent 3-1 in his last 8 matches. Fazlı, who faced his Chinese opponent in the quarter-finals, easily passed his opponent 9-1. Fazlı, who advanced to the semi-finals, lost his chance to advance to the final by losing 3-2 as a result of a tough competition against his Iranian opponent, but he qualified for the bronze medal competition. Fazlı, who faced another US athlete in his last match, won the match by beating his opponent 6-4 and became the owner of the bronze medal. We congratulate him for his performance and for making our flag fly on the podium and wish him continued success.
In addition, our national wrestler Emrah Ormanoğlu, who took part in the Open Ranking series held in Zagreb, won the bronze medal in the 61 kilograms category.
Emrah, who won the semi-finals by defeating her Indian opponent 5-2 in the quarter-finals, won the right to take part in the bronze medal match by remaining 0-0 with her Mongolian opponent in the semi-finals. Faced with his French opponent in the bronze medal competition, Emrah managed to beat his opponent with a very comfortable score of 10-0. Reaching the bronze medal after this score, Emrah completed the tournament on the podium. We congratulate our national wrestler who won a medal for his country and wish him continued success.
