 Traveler Festival Ankara Starts Its Journey


The Traveler Festival opened its curtains between December 2-14. Organized by the Ankara Cinema Association, the Traveler Festival opened its first curtain in Ankara.


The festival aims to bring the year's exciting local and foreign films to audiences in three different cities with its classic sections titled World Cinema, Short is Good, Turkey 2022 and Children's Films, as well as new sections titled Under Threat, Free Expression, Women Pioneers of Cinema and Godard: On Love and Death. The festival will open its curtains in Ankara until December 2-8, in Sinop on December 9-11 and in Kastamonu on December 12-14.
 
The festival is organized with the contributions of the Embassies of the USA, Belgium, Denmark, Ireland, Spain, Israel, Israel, Poland and the Goethe Institute, and we are informed that there will be an intense demand for the screenings of the films in the festival program.
 
The Ankara days of the festival will be held at Doğan Taşdelen Contemporary Arts Center and festival tickets are available at www.biletinial.com and Doğan Taşdelen Contemporary Arts Center box office. The entrance fee for the tickets, which are actively on sale, is 20 TL and the Short is Good and Children's Films sessions are free of charge.
 
It is among the information received that the Sinop and Kastamonu programs of the twenty-seventh edition of the Festival on Wheels are also ready. The second stop of the Mobile Festival, Sinop screenings will be held on December 9-11 at the Public Education Center hosted by Sinop Municipality, and the last stop in Kastamonu will be held on December 12-14 at Kastamonu University Ahmet Yesevi Conference Hall hosted by the Faculty of Communication Media and Communication Community. Among the other information obtained is that all sessions of the screenings in Sinop and Kastamonu will be free of charge.
