 The Story of Storyboard


A seminar on "The Story of Storyboard from Paper to Pelicule" was organized by Animation artist K. Eren ERYÜREKLİ at Istanbul Gelisim University Vocational School.


Hosted by Istanbul Gelisim University Vocational School; Head of Radio and Television Programming Program Lecturer. Assist. Under the leadership of Oya TONG; On October 27, a seminar on "The Story of Storyboard from Paper to Peliculums" was organized by Animation artist K. Eren ERYÜREKLİ.
 
In the seminar, ERYÜREKLİ explained what animation is and then what storyboard is and how it is designed, and provided students with professional and sectoral information about the field. ERYÜREKLİ underlined that storyboarding has an older history than expected and stated that storyboarding provides temporal and monetary gain by illustrating the ideas in the project and turning them into a shooting plan.
 
Stating that it is a method used to tell not only the flow of the story but also its mood, ERYÜREKLİ stated that the importance of storyboard in production is not known in our country, while the world cinema, which is aware of the importance of storyboard, has developed for this reason.
 
After answering the questions of the participants, the program ended with the presentation of a plaque of appreciation to K. Eren ERYÜREKLİ by Istanbul Gelisim University Vocational School Director Assist. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erdal ŞEN for his participation.
