The student clubs meeting week was held at Istanbul Gelisim University Tower between November 26-27-28. The student clubs meeting week was met with great interest. During the introduction week of the Photography and Video Club, various information about the club was given to the students.
Within the scope of the event, it was emphasized that the main purpose of the club is to increase the general culture level of students in the field of photography, cinema and communication. In addition, among the goals of the club is to enable students from different departments to come together to make joint projects and prepare the ground for them to spend more quality time at the university.
The club members, who emphasized that students who are interested in photography and video or who shoot for hobby purposes can increase their basic knowledge level by conducting workshops, stated that the primary objectives of the club are to transform the theoretical knowledge of the students into practice, as well as to increase both the experience and motivation of the students by organizing events with experts in their field. Within the scope of the club activities, the participants were informed that photography and video shootings will be made on the subjects determined together with the students with theoretical knowledge and that they will have the opportunity to shoot in the historical districts and places of Istanbul within the scope of these activities.
