Ministry of Culture and Tourism Supports 18 New Projects for Cinema
At the meeting held by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, it was decided to support 18 projects in the branch of cinema with 17 million 450 thousand liras.
According to the statement made by the ministry, 99 projects were evaluated by the support committee consisting of representatives from the ministry and the cinema sector. Among the supported projects, "Güvercin" directed by Banu Sıvacı won “The Best Youth Film" award at the Asia Pacific Film Awards, while Ali Özel received 11 awards from the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival with his films "Günyüzü" and "Bozkır".
